Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Nearing the end of this Jubilee Year, as “Pilgrims of Hope,” we look to the Lord Jesus, “the true Light Who came into the world.” He alone is the Light that can never be overcome by the darkness. And we give thanks for the gift of God’s boundless love.
In so many ways, a pall of darkness covers our world. We long for better times, for the security of days past and a working together toward the common good. In the Church, we seek to “walk together” in the ways of synodality: each person having a voice and each given the respect due to a child of God.
As we prepare for our annual celebration of the Birth of the Lord, our hope is renewed as we contemplate the events that led to the Lord’s coming into the world. The unwavering fidelity of Mary and Joseph are our models as we seek to welcome the Lord into our lives and our world.
May these final days of Advent, this time of joyful expectation, and the coming Christmas Season engage us, our families and loved ones and our entire parish more deeply in bring-ing to all the joy, hope and light of Christ.
We are privileged to continue to serve you.
Monsignors Fran and Francisco, Sandra Quintanilla, Ryan Bao, Linda Brisuela, Esteban Lugardo and Roxana Cruz
